Orca III has been built to provide a fast, stable, comfortable platform for Ocean exploration, survey and ocean science.  Her large deck space, moon pool, davit, spacious cabin, flexible power supply and multibeam swath sonar gantry make her an ideal platform for sonar and sensor deployment operations.  For Marine Mammal Observations, her high bridge roof observation platform, coupled with her quiet auxiliary generator makes her perfectly suited to all aspects of cetacean research including Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) and tracking.  Our locally based Ocean Science Operations specialist with experience in underwater sensor operations, sonar, acoustics and instrumentation enables Atlantic marine to assist in effective liaison, planning and execution of your ocean science operations.  Our qualified and accredited marine meteorologist evaluates critical weather windows for the operation, particularly the critical deployment and recovery of sensors, saving you time and money.
