• Logistics: Utilising the latest zero coded custom built Wild Cat 53 (Orca III) provides effective access to the whole Island chain and Atlantic from the convenient central location of Tarbert, Isle of Harris, thereby reducing transit time and cost.  Tarbert is situated at the centre of the Island chain and also offers effective logistics access to mainland routes via the short ferry crossing from Uig (Isle of Skye).
• Maintenance. Atlantic Marine have local links with Engineering contractors for the provision of instrumentation, fabrication, repair and supply; including radar and instrumentation experts (Spectral Line Systems) in Tarbert.
• Local Knowledge. Local conditions can be complex and changeable, therefore companies with access to experienced local knowledge would operate more effectively and efficiently.  The Atlantic Marine Associates have a wide range of maritime experience including, marine acoustic, archaeology, survey (inshore reconnaissance), local meteorology (forecasting), diving services and marine biology.
• Forward Basing. Based in Tarbert (Isle of Harris), customers and operational teams will have access to workspace, internet, planning facilities and computing. In addition working from these facilities customers can access local knowledge and expertise through the Atlantic Marine Associates all based from the Isle of Harris.
